TUCSON AIRPORT AUTHORITY LAUNCHES AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

The Tucson Airport Authority announced today they are launching a public awareness campaign that includes ads scheduled to appear in various print publications as well as 30-second spots on radio and television.

"Our customers keep telling us that one of the reasons they like Tucson International is because it's so easy to use," said TAA President/CEO Bonnie Allin. "They appreciate the convenience of close-in parking, including covered parking in the Economy lot and the Garage, and how simple it is to get to and from the terminal.

"And with the recent improvements to the concourses, including free WiFi throughout, computer workstations with free electrical outlets, additional gate seating and expanded food and retail concessions with more choices, we continue to get frequent compliments from users," she said. "So, we decided to capitalize on the feedback and make it the theme of our Fall and Spring ad campaign."

The ads highlight that TIA is fast, with short check-in lines and easy airport access; friendly, with great food and shopping throughout the terminal and live music performances; economical, with competitive fares without a long expensive drive, and parking rates starting at $4 per day; and including a number of free services, such as WiFi, 24-hour shuttles to TIA economy parking, and the Cell Phone Waiting Lot where meeters and greeters can park free while waiting to pick up passengers.

The ads also recommend travelers visit the airport's airfare portal, www.airtucson.com for the best deals on airfares.
