BASEBALL BUFFS LEARN TO PLAY LIKE THE PROS
AT DAVE HENDERSON TOURNAMENT AND CLINIC
Tucson, Ariz., October 15, 2008 - The Metropolitan Tucson Convention & Visitors Bureau and Dave Henderson Baseball are pleased to present the Old School Baseball Wood Bat Tournament (Oct. 18-22) and the Dave Henderson Baseball Adventures Road Trip (Oct. 24-27), both at Kino Sports Complex.
Former Red Sox, A's and Mariners baseball star Dave Henderson will host the Old School Baseball Wood Bat Tournament beginning Saturday, October 18. The tournament is a senior-level baseball camp for 40-and-over men, and will include both a competitive division and a fantasy division for those with previous fantasy camp experience. Ten teams with 126 players are slated to face off at Kino Sports Complex. Each team will benefit from the coaching and advice of professional trainers.

Just two days after the Old School Tournament wraps up, Henderson will host the Baseball Adventures Road Trip, also at Kino Sports Complex. The Road Trip offers participants an intensive baseball learning experience with the pros.
Players will meet with Major Leaguers Henderson, Michael Davis, Rod Allen and others for in-depth hitting, pitching and fielding instruction sessions. Five full nine-inning games will be played - including a night game under the stadium lights - to test the 70 participants' newly learned skills.

* More than 200 out-of-town travelers are expected.
