The Dog Days of Summer: Tuesdays in June, July and August at the Tucson Botanical Gardens
Tucson, Ariz. (May 25, 2009) -- It's the dog days of summer! Beat the heat by bringing your dog to the Garden every Tuesday morning this summer. The Gardens is 5 1/2 acres of lush greenery, shady meandering paths, and beautiful native flowers - the perfect setting for your morning walk. Walkers are welcome at 7 a.m. and dogs will be admitted until 8:30 a.m. Regular admission charges apply, dog admission is $3 per dog. Please bring a leash, water for your dog and waste disposal bags to keep our garden clean. Dogs are not admitted to the Garden during regular business hours so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity.
Hours & Admission
Dog Days Hours: Tuesday mornings in June, July and August, open at 7 a.m. Dogs will be admitted until 8:30 a.m.
Garden Hours: Garden hours are 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Open seven days a week, year round, except July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day and New Year's Day.
Admission:
$7 for adults (age 13+), $3 for children 4-12 and dogs ($2 Gardens member dogs), free for children 3 and under.

Tucson Botanical Gardens is a private, non-profit organization that promotes botanical, horticultural, and ecological education; encourages responsible environmental stewardship; and provides a beautiful setting for enjoyment and relaxation.
