MAYNARDS MENUS, MUSIC & MASQUERADE

Tucson, AZ ---- Fall takes on new meaning at Maynards Market and Kitchen at downtown Tucson's historic train depot as they switch into high gear after the long hot summer. The season opener features Executive Chef Addam Buzzalini's outstanding new dishes on the menu for lunch at the Market and dinner at the Kitchen. Lunch features an expanded menu with a variety of delectable offerings including the new Carne Asada (9) and "Gooey" Grilled Cheddar Cheese (9) Sandwiches, the Yukon Gold Potato Pizza with triple blanched garlic cream, Fontina cheese, Parmigiano-Reggiano and fresh rosemary (10), Butternut Squash soup (6), fresh from the oven Calzones (10) and more. Dinner delights include Chef Buzzalini's rendition of the classic Cassoulet (26), a fall off the bone Braised Lamb Shank dish (22), a main course Acorn Squash (21), Braised Pheasant and Pumpkin Ravioli (23) and more.

The perfect complement to any meal at Maynards is a great glass of wine. The outstanding wine selection in the market by the bottle and by the glass in the dining room has also evolved and features many new options. The music scene at Maynards is also in full swing for the season. Featuring Salsa monthly on Thursdays, Bossa Nova weekly on Fridays, Jazz on Saturdays and acoustic on Mondays, the line up includes a veritable "A" list of talent including Determined Luddites, Nossa Bossa Nova, Larry Redhouse, Reno del Mar, Ice House Quartet, Jeff & Naim, Orquesta la Unica and more. Music begins at 7pm on the patio at Maynards.

DJ Sugarman picks up the beat for late night and a special gig on Halloween Eve - Friday, October 30 - at 10pm for "Devils Night." Festivities will begin at 9pm and will include a special mask contest using the template available on the Maynards' website at http://www.maynardsmarkettucson.com/events. Participants are encouraged to get creative and to dress in the spirit of the evening and dance the night away while Sugarman spins some devilish tunes until 2am. Prizes will be given for the best masks and costumes.

Located in Downtown Tucson's bustling east end, at 400 N Toole Avenue, Maynards Market and Kitchen is part of the HoCo Group (Hotel Congress Group) which includes Hotel Congress, Cup Café, Club Congress, and the Copper Hall. The Market is open Sunday-Thursday a week from 7am-8pm and Friday/Saturday 7am-10pm. The Kitchen is open daily from 11am to bar closing offering extended dining on Friday and Saturday until midnight.
