Day 3 Add Day Trip To myTucson

1. John Slaughter Ranch Add To myTucson Vacation Planner
520-558-2474, off AZ Hwy. 80, east through Douglas. $5/general, under 14 free. 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Wed.–Sun.
In 1884 John Slaughter, former Texas Ranger and soon-to-be sheriff of Cochise County, acquired this classic Western ranch. The ranch has been renovated to reflect its turn-of-the-century grandeur. Clear view of vast surrounding valley and compound available from top of an old U.S. Cavalry encampment.
