Old Tucson Studios is southern Arizona’s premier outdoor entertainment venue for family fun! This world-famous Western movie studio and theme park features a full array of live shows, dramatic gunfights, thrilling stunts, and saloon musicals featured daily. Great food, shopping, games, rides and attractions. Allow 2-4 hours.

2. Arizona Historical Society Add To myTucson Vacation Planner

Arizona’s oldest historical museum traces the history of the area from Spanish Colonial through Territorial times. Full-scale exhibits include underground mine tunnel and rooms decorated in Territorial style.

3. Trail Dust Town Add To myTucson Vacation Planner
296-4551, 6541 E. Tanque Verde Rd., east Tucson. Shops open 5–10 p.m.
Browse through the quaint shops; take the family on the carousel or steam-engine ride at this re-creation of a lively frontier town. Thrill to a mock Wild West shoot-out and choose from several restaurants.

4. Tucson Rodeo Parade Museum Add To myTucson Vacation Planner

Museum features 150 horse-drawn vehicles from buggies to elaborate coaches, historic artifacts from pioneer days, re-created Tucson Main Street circa 1900. Tour, 1 1/2 hours. Open publicly Jan.–Mar. Private tours year-round; phone or e-mail for arrangements.
