Fiesta de San Agustin Aug. 30
An evening of music, food, art, and entertainment celebrating the 1775 founding of El Presidio de Tucson and Tucson's patron saint, San Agustín. A highlight is the Mass at St. Augustine Cathedral, with Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas presiding, followed by a procession to Armory Park featuring a statue of San Agustín from the permanent collection of the Arizona History Museum. Tucson's birthday celebrated at outdoor festival honoring Tucson’s patron saint, Saint Augustine. Music, art exhibits, and speakers at Armory Park, and mass at Saint Augustine Cathedral.

Rendezvous of the Gunfighters Aug. 30 - Sep. 1
Old Western gunfighter groups from around the U.S. gather in Tombstone to stage gunfight reenactments, compete in most-authentic costume contest and Sunday parade.
