On Independence Day, The Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa guests and La Paloma Country Club members will be treated to an incredible laser light-show timed with patriotic music in celebration of our country's 239th birthday. A stunning array of spectrum-spanning laser lights will form mesmerizing patterns and optical illusions in time with uplifting music over the freshly rejuvenated resort pools.  Festivities start July 3rd through July 5th.

10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Poolside: Super hero contest, Watermelon Eating Contest                                         11:00 a.m. Reid Park Zoo Animal Show                                                                                               11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Backyard BBQ                                                                                                 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All American BQ Buffet in ballroom featuring live country band "Buckboard"                         6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Poolside DJ Music                                                                                             9:00 to 9:30 p.m. Red, White & Blues Laser Light Show
