The Tucson Walking Tour in Women's History explores women's past in three neighborhoods. Attendees will learn about the diverse and fascinating women who lived, worked, established institutions and raised families here. The historic sites also represent women as business entrepreneurs and their involvement in building Tucson's vibrant religious and cultural life. Sites visited include a Spanish-language theatre, former school and convent, shrine, and historic residences. Tour begins at the Sosa-Carrillo-Fremont House (151 S. Granada) and has a short route (45 minutes) and a longer route (90 minutes). Cost: $10/person, $5/student, children 12 and under free.
