The visitor center, just north of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, has a good area map. Select from sweeping mountain landscapes to foothills covered with native shrubs and saguaros. Visit Picture Rocks—drive north and east from the visitor center through massive rock formations and pristine desert.
