In August 2011 Westward Look Resort resurfaced and repainted six of its eight championship tennis courts, and added new graduated lines for younger players. The updated courts - five made of asphalt and one of fiberglass - were resurfaced and refinished to patch up and cover cracks from normal wear and tear. The appearance of the courts was freshened with blue and green paint. Graduated lines, which visually scale down court size, making it easier for kids to learn, were added to accommodate the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Quick Start Tennis program for kids ages 10 and under. Westward Look Resort, located in the Catalina foothills on Tucson's north side, offers guests and Sport and Spa members of all ages skill-level tennis lesions, clinics, and double play throughout the year.

Hotel Tucson City Center InnSuites Conference Suite Resort, located in downtown Tucson near the Tucson Convention Center and Interstate 10, is completing a $1.5 million renovation, which includes upgrades to its 268 guest studios and suites as well as improvements to its Olympic-sized pool and spa, and expansive outdoor courtyard. All guest studios and suites located in the hotel's four-story tower as well as select other guest rooms were upgraded with new furniture, Cloud 9 bedding, art, granite vanities, floor tile and carpeting, high definition televisions, microwave ovens/coffee makers, improved laundry facilities, and bright wall paint. The hotel's security system was also updated. All guests now have access to high-speed Internet access. Improvements to the hotel's sports bar pub and café are underway.

The JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa redesigned its Signature Grill patio and poolside Plunge restaurant to make outdoor dining even more enjoyable. A new pressurized fine misting-system cools the Signature Grill's patio area. Adjustable and mobile shade valences added to the restaurant's windows provide variable shade throughout the day. New overhead lighting on the patio and new lanterns suspended from the shade structure provide comfort long after sunset. The seasonable poolside restaurant Plunge was updated with additional shading, expanding misting systems, and new awnings that provide more shade.

The Ramada Inn and Suites Foothills completed upgrades to all 115 guest rooms in December 2010. Upgrades include the addition of water-saving toilets, granite counter tops, and energy-efficient air conditioners. Also, energy-efficient light bulbs have been installed in guest rooms and throughout the property. The hotel installed new carpet on walkways throughout the property, and improved its spacious rooftop sundeck with new furniture.

Casino Del Sol Hotel, Spa and Conference Center, an addition to the existing Casino Del Sol Casino and AVA Amphitheatre, is under construction on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation, located 15 minutes from Tucson International Airport and downtown Tucson.
