New Renovations & Upgrades

Omni Tucson National Golf Resort & Spa
Complete late 2008

$57 million renovation and expansion plan began in May 2007. Centered around a natural, organic feel with Southwestern influences. When completed, the golf resort, country club and spa will expand to encompass 279 rooms and 22,000 sq. ft. of total indoor meeting space.

Hilton Tucson East

Hilton Tucson East completed Phase One of a multimillion dollar renovation in 2007.  Meeting facilities, restaurant, pool, and atrium were renovated, a new private dining room was constructed, two Gala Rooms were added. The exercise room was upgraded to a Hilton by Precor state of the art facility. The hotel added an ADA-compliant ramp to the front entrance and new business center equipment. Phase Two is currently underway and includes a renovation of all sleeping rooms, the addition of 32" flat screen HD LCD televisions, new items of furniture, new closets, and tile. King rooms are receiving new showers. Phase Two is projected to conclude in Q3.

Doubletree Hotel Tucson at Reid Park

The Double Tree Reid Park is embarking on a $10,000,000 renovation project. The 2007 phase of the project includes renovation of the courtyard bathrooms to all marble and granite, new tile entry ways and patios. New landscaping for the entire 14 acres will also start in 2007. Most of the project will be in 2008 with two new pools, splash area for children and a new outdoor venue for weddings or theme dinners.  All suites and casitas will renovated and an executive club room will be added in the tower.

Radisson Suites Hotel Tucson Airport

Immediate benefits of the renovation include completely refurbished guest rooms featuring the addition of the custom Sleep Number bed by Select Comfort®. The new Radisson Hotel Tucson Airport is located at the entrance to Tucson International Airport.

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort
Completed January 2008 - Will Only Stay Up During Winter Months

Additional 10,000 square feet of meeting space (for a new total of 47,000 square feet of indoor space). It will be located off of the Kiva Patio where there are currently two tennis courts.

Westward Look Resort
Completed April 2008

The $10-million first phase of remodeling will result in an update and upgrade of all the resort's guest rooms and lobby area, as well as the Catalina and Sonoran Ballrooms. Phase Two is currently in the planning stage.

Tanque Verde Ranch

A luxurious Western motif graces the guest rooms -- rest on a feather mattress cover after a horseback ride, round of tennis, or a dip in the newly renovated saline outdoor (or indoor) pool. Open a meeting on new carpet and in new chairs with light bright meeting space. 

Tubac Golf Resort & Spa
Completed September 2007

New 3,200 square foot chapel for weddings. The 30 additional Haciendas, 650 sq. ft. each, have flat screen TVs, stereo sound systems, DVD players, jet tubs, separate walk-in showers, upgraded bed and bedding and will be completed late summer 2007. The 4,000 square foot spa will be up and running by July 1.

New Hotel Development

Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain
Opening fall 2009
Under construction in the foothills of the Tortolita Mountains. With a 250-room resort, golf club and residences, the project encompasses 850 acres. Includes a four-story building made of adobe block, stucco, clay tile and native stone. Two ballrooms, 9,000 square feet and 4,000 square feet, offer special event space, and a spa, pool, hiking trails and three restaurants round out the offerings.

Hilton Garden Inn - Tucson Airport

New three-story hotel with 125 guest rooms accessible only via interior corridor. Swimming pool features a "lazy river" that encircles the regular pool and is powered by forced water that moves along guests who sit or lie on rafts. Other amenities: evening room service, 24-hour pantry convenience shop, complimentary 24-hour business center that includes free use of fax, copies, printer, and high-speed Internet. In guest rooms: free high-speed wired and wireless Internet access and secure, remote printing to the hotel business center; refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker; two dual-line speaker phones with voicemail; and LCD television. Function space: 4,000-square-feet of banquet/function space that seats up to 300 guests, banquet style; board room for 10; and outdoor terrace.

Tohono O'odham Nation's Desert Diamond Hotel-Casino

323,000 sq ft casino-hotel. 150 rooms feature 32-inch flat-screen TVs and complimentary high speed wireless Internet access. 8,000 sq. ft. conference center. 165,000 sq. ft. casino.

Embassy Suites Tucson - Paloma Village
Opened September 2007

The new 120-suite hotel located across from La Encantada shopping center will appeal to both business and leisure travelers, particularly golfers. This upscale hotel features 3,256 sq. ft. of meeting space including four meeting rooms plus outdoor function space, catering, a business center, guest laundry facilities, a heated swimming pool, hot tub and state-of-the art fitness center and a full, complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast. Summer rates will be priced at $99 per night rising to $259 per night in the tourist season.
