The AAA Four Diamond award-winning Hilton Tucson El Conquistador has opened a new 11,000 square-foot contemporary conference center. Located away from the resort's convention facilities, The Executive Conference Center provides eight meeting rooms including one permanent boardroom with a built-in 70 inch LED Television for presentations - the only one of its kind in Tucson. The Executive Conference Center is designed for small to medium groups of 10 to 100 guests, and provides a total meeting environment with specifically designed infrastructure and equipment to support productive meetings. Most meeting rooms will feature windows and some will offer balconies with spectacular views of the Catalina Mountains that guests can enjoy year-round during their meeting breaks. Inside the rooms, conference attendees will benefit from state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, ergonomic seating, work tables with non-reflective surfaces and built-in electrical outlets as well as specially designed energy-efficient lighting. As a recipient of both the Green Certification from the Arizona Tourism & Lodging Association and The Stars of the Industry Award in the Good Earthkeeping category, Hilton Tucson El Conquistador will also implement a number of green initiatives throughout the executive conference center.

The Clarion Hotel, Tucson Airport, will undertake a full renovation of all 188 spacious guest rooms commencing immediately, in addition to 4,624 square feet of meeting space (combined) and additional enhancements to the beautiful Arizona ball room, which offers 2,080-square-foot. Redesigned private courtyard and lobby, full exterior upgrade, and a fresh new look and menu in Morgan's restaurant and bar. The lobby will retain much of its rich wood decor, with the addition of sleek new business center facilities and a grand water feature. The newly named DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport is conveniently located adjacent to Tucson International Airport (TUS), and only minutes from the University of Arizona and downtown Tucson. The former Radisson Suites at Tucson Airport/Embassy Suites Tucson Airport is situated in a corporate corridor near many Fortune 500 companies; the hotel offers a relaxed ambiance and friendly service. In addition to its new name, the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport is undergoing an extensive renovation. The lobby and the restaurant already have been totally remodeled, and upgrades to the lounge and the 204-guest rooms are on schedule for completion by the end of June. The 153-room Courtyard by Marriott Tucson Williams Centre recently renovated its lobby, outdoor space, and guest rooms. The lobby now features the Marriott brand's Refreshing Business concept, which offers guests flexibility to work, socialize, and enjoy entertainment in either their rooms or the lobby. The lobby features "welcome pedestals" in lieu of a front desk for check in. Seating includes a central communal table, private media booths with high-definition televisions, and an intimate semi-enclosed lounge area. A Marriott GoBoard® a 52-inch LCD touch-screen provides access to local visitor information, weather reports, and news. A business library offers complimentary computer terminals with a free printer; separate computer stations are dedicated to printing airline boarding passes. Redesigned dining options include: The Bistro's casual seating, easy access to food and light evening fare. The Market is open 24/7 shop for snacks, beverages, and sundries. A new recycling program available to guests is located by side exits and includes receptacles for paper, glass, and metal.

Hotel Tucson City Center InnSuites Conference Suite Resort, located in downtown Tucson near the Tucson Convention Center and Interstate 10, is completing a $1.5 million renovation, which includes upgrades to its 268 guest studios and suites as well as improvements to its Olympic-sized pool and spa, and expansive outdoor courtyard. All guest studios and suites located in the hotel's four-story tower as well as select other guest rooms were upgraded with new furniture, Cloud 9 bedding, art, granite vanities, floor tile and carpeting, high definition televisions, microwave ovens/coffee makers, improved laundry facilities, and bright wall paint. The hotel's security system was also updated. All guests now have access to high-speed Internet access. Improvements to the hotel's sports bar pub and café are underway.
