MTCVB Makes a Difference!

Saturday, October 24, 2009, The Metropolitan Tucson Convention & Visitors Bureau (MTCVB) and our industry partners worked to beautify a stretch of Tucson's Benson Highway that leads visitors from the Tucson International Airport to the heart of our amazing city. MTCVB was joined by tourism industry professionals from Southern Arizona Lodging & Resort Association (SALARA), the Attractions Alliance, and the Tucson Airport Authority. 

USA Weekend Magazine designated the fourth Saturday of October as National Make a Difference Day. It is intended to be a celebration of people helping others in their communities and stepping up to volunteer to truly make a difference. In the spirit of this day, MTCVB decided to rally our partners to get out and volunteer to improve the destination we all so passionately support and promote. The call was answered enthusiastically with over 40 people committing to help.
