Transportation Options - 2009 Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase
GemRide™ Shuttle
ParkWise and the City of Tucson offer a free local shuttle service, GemRide, to Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase sites. GemRide operates Jan. 31 - Feb. 15, 2009 to most show locations located off the I-10 frontage roads.
Printed shuttle information and maps will be available at the Tucson International Airport, the Visitor Center in La Placita Village at 100 S. Church Avenue, and at all shuttle stops by Jan. 30.
For additional GemRide information call (866) PARK GEM - (866) 727-5436 - between 8 am - 8 pm (MST) Jan. 31 - Feb. 15, 2009. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available with 24-hour notice, call (866) 727-5436.

Note: GemRide has changed for 2009.
If you have used GemRide during the past couple of years, you will notice a few changes in 2009. Select service to shows outside the I-10 frontage road areas has been either reduced or eliminated. Please examine this map closely and pick up a final printed copy when you arrive in Tucson at the airport, any show or any GemRide stop.

Shuttle Stops & Parking Locations
GemRide shuttles originate from designated Parking HUBS: - 22nd Street / I-10 Parking HUB (I-10 frontage road at 22nd Street)
- Congress Street Parking HUB (Congress Street west of I-10)
- Tucson Expo Center Parking HUB (Irvington at I-10)
Parking lots are open from 8 am - 8 pm daily (MST).
Additional Parking
Pennington Street Garage (110 E. Pennington Street at Scott Ave.) and City/State Garage (498 W. Congress, 1 block east of I-10).
