Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce

The Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce is a business networking organization dedicated to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community, and its allies, working to encourage a business environment that is open and inclusive as well as to promote Tucson as a welcoming place to live, visit, and do business.

Wingspan

Southern Arizona's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community center, Wingspan provides a full array of social and community services that promote the freedom, equality, safety and well being of GLBT people. As a non-profit, charitable organization, Wingspan envisions a community in which lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are treated with dignity and respect; live full, healthy, and interconnected lives; are free to live openly with pride; and are celebrated in their full diversity.

P-FLAG Tucson

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians And Gays (PFLAG) promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends. PFLAG provides opportunity to dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

Publications

The Weekly Observer

Tucson's gay and lesbian weekly newspaper covers the city's GLBT community. The Weekly Observer is a gay-oriented free newspaper that is distributed on Wednesday each week. The Observer carries local, state, national and international news articles as well as regular informational columns on a variety of topics. Advertisements help keep the Observer free, and each edition includes a calendar of events and a classifieds/notices section.
