WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship - Feb. 23 - Mar. 1, 2009 (Tucson) This cornerstone of the World Golf Championship (WGC) series is staged at The Gallery Golf Club at Dove Mountain, in the Tucson suburb of Marana. The Gallery Golf Club, located in the lush Sonoran Desert foothills of the Tortolita Mountains approximately 20 miles north of Tucson, is an acclaimed John Fought-designed golf course, rated No. 1 by Golf Digest magazine.

This widely popular Match Play event features five days of internationally televised competition between the best 64 available golfers from the Official World Golf Ranking, with a purse of $7.5 million. Proceeds from the event benefit the local chapter of The First Tee as well as other local and regional charities. International Federation of PGA Tours. AGTA Coyote Classic Golf Tournament - Feb. 2009 date TBD (Green Valley) Join the AGTA at the AGTA Coyote Classic charity golf tournament. The format features a 12:30 p.m. shotgun tee-off and is open to anyone. You can register as a foursome or as an individual, and we'll pair you up with other singles. The tournament entry fee is $150 per person or $500 per foursome. Registration includes green fee, cart, lunch, 19th hole celebration, goodie bags and assorted prizes. Dan Felix-Colorado Rockies Baseball Club Celebrity Golf Tournament - Feb. 2009 date TBD (Tucson) An exclusive opportunity to play a round of golf with a Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball player or coach, and help raise funds for underprivileged children and disabled individuals in Tucson. The annual tournament takes place at the Randolph Golf Complex, 600 S. Alvernon Way, Tucson 85711. The tournament will be a scramble format with a Rockies player or coach joining each foursome. The Colorado Rockies generously support the fund by co-hosting the tournament. In addition to playing, other sponsorship opportunities are also available.
