Tucson, AZ – Wynton Marsalis said, "That's the joy of swinging. When you get there, you realize the ride is the destination". The 2025 Tucson Jazz Festival (TJF) returns in January with a stellar lineup of talent and events sure to bring that kind of joy to Southern Arizona.  For over a decade, “Jazz in January” has attracted ever growing audiences, both local and from around the country to downtown Tucson for 9 days of inspired entertainment.

The 2025 TJF will take place from January 17-25, with over 38 individual performances showcasing the finest talents in the jazz world like Sheila E, Paquito D'Rivera, Charles Lloyd Ocean Trio, Delfeayo Marsalis and The Uptown Jazz Orchestra and more.

New this year, the TJF will also include a Jazz Brunch, a Community Cookout, several Secret Jazz Events, Burlesques, and other surprise performances/venues that will be announced over the coming months leading up to the festival.

And for the second year, local restaurants throughout the community will offer “Jazz Specials” on their menus and live jazz at their locations throughout the length of the TJF turning the entire city of Tucson into Jazz Central.

TJF Executive Director Khris Dodge has worked over the past year to create a winning lineup for the 2025 season. "I am excited for our community to come together through the joy of great music, food, and unique events that only happen within the festival experience. And as always, whether you are a seasoned jazz lover or this may be your first experience at the festival, there is something for everyone".

Other standouts in the TJF 2025 lineup are Endea Owens & The Cookout (with Special Guest Chef Janos Wilder), Tucson Native Brian Bromberg and his Unapologetically Funky Big Bombastic Band with special guest Michael Paulo, Emmet Cohen Trio, New Breed Brass Band, Gunhild Carling, Armen Donelian with Dominique  Eade, Herlin Riley Quartet, Lewis Nash Power Trio with Bill Easly, Helio Alvez Samba Jazz, Alex Kautz, Miki Yamanaka Trio, and another Tucson alum, Arcoiris Sandoval Sonic Asylum Trio.
