Sept 10, 7:30pm – An Evening with Jimmy Webb

Jimmy Webb: American Songwriter “. A night with Jimmy at the keys is not unlike getting to hear George Gershwin or Cole Porter live.  It’s hard to believe one guy could have written all these amazing songs.   If you get a chance to see him live, grab it. “--- Paul Zollo, Songwriters on Songwriting

Jimmy Webb’s songs are deeply embedded in our culture.  His catalog of music and lyrics spans multiple genres and appeals to all living generations.  He is always on the lists of the most important songwriters.  With songs including “Wichita Lineman”, “By the Time I Get to Phoenix”, “The Worst that Could Happen”, “MacArthur Park”, “Galveston”, “Didn’t We”, “All I Know”, “The Highwayman”, “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress”, he is clearly beloved by the best voices and admired by songwriters everywhere. Webb has been dubbed a modern-day Gershwin/Porter/Berlin and is a bona fide progenitor of the Great American Songbook. Yet at the same time, he appeals directly and widely to the country/pop/rock/rap culture of today. Webb’s music runs the spectrum of modern music genres: country, pop, rock, jazz, rap, heavy metal, new age, gospel, disco, EDM, classical—and more.  And his songs have been recorded by the foremost interpreters of these genres.

In his live shows, Jimmy’s intimate style is juxtaposed against his stature and exquisite piano skills. His humor and storytelling create such a personal atmosphere that the audience cries, laughs and sings as if in the presence of a long lost relative here for a brief visit.  Jimmy walked with giants and regales audiences with stories of Mr. Sinatra, Elvis, Louis Armstrong, Art Garfunkel, Linda Ronstadt, Harry Nilsson, Richard Harris, Glen Campbell…

Sept 12, 8:00pm – Steve Trevino: Good Life Tour

Comedian Steve Treviño is “America’s Favorite Husband.” He can “speak wife fluently,” he never calls “the guys” for help on a home project, and he knows better than to “make his own decisions,” since decision-making is a privilege reserved solely for his wife, Renae.

His relatable approach affirms his status as one of the country’s premiere stand-up comedians, viewed over 300 million times, selling out shows across the nation, and amassing over 3.5 million total social media followers. This show is intended for audiences of 18 and up.

Sept 14, 7:00pm – Raphael Saadiq: No Bandwidth!

Over the course of five groundbreaking solo albums, three Grammy Awards (and 22 additional nominations), and recognition from both the Oscars and Golden Globes, Raphael Saadiq has cemented his status as a true icon of contemporary music. Between his work as an artist, producer, and songwriter, he has sold over 30 million records worldwide.

His remarkable journey began in 1984, when, at just 18 years old, he was already sharing stages with music royalty Prince and Sheila E. His artistry soon flourished with the formation of Tony! Toni! Toné!, which helped define the sound of ’90s R&B. With unforgettable anthems like “If I Had No Loot” and “Anniversary,” Saadiq became a pivotal figure in shaping the genre’s landscape. Saadiq’s influence expanded as he ventured into a critically acclaimed solo career, debuting with the genre-defining Instant Vintage in 2002. His unique ability to seamlessly blend vintage soul with modern sensibilities propelled him to the forefront of the pop and R&B genres, while his production genius turned him into one of the most sought-after collaborators in music.

From D’Angelo’s iconic Voodoo to Solange’s A Seat at the Table, Saadiq has shaped some of the most influential albums of the 21st century. His own critically lauded Jimmy Lee (2019) further solidified his reputation as a boundary-pushing artist. His recent contributions to Beyoncé’s iconic albums, Renaissance and Cowboy Carter have earned him 8 more Grammy nominations. As he enters the fifth decade of his illustrious career, Raphael Saadiq remains an indispensable force, continuing to shape and redefine the sound of contemporary pop and soul.

This stunning concert is the only authentic reimagining of the legendary Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman songbook performed brilliantly by world-class alumni of Meat Loaf’s official band- the same musicians who brought his musical visions to life both in the studio and on stages around the world. Caleb Johnson returns with the band, having established his legitimacy as the premier lead vocalist for this timeless music through his powerful interpretations and furiously electrifying stage presence.

Led by Meat Loaf’s longtime record producer/ music director/ guitarist Paul Crook alongside fellow alumni John Miceli (drums), Randy Flowers (guitar), Lyssa Lynne (female lead/ backing vocals), Danny Miranda (bass) and including Andy Ascolese (piano), Mark Kelt (piano) and Kiley Baxter (featured vocals), the band and Caleb perform a thoughtfully curated set list of Meat Loaf’s best loved classics such as “Bat Out of Hell”, “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” and “I Would Do Anything For Love”. As an added second set bonus, the show includes hit songs from “Rocky Horror”. Meat Loaf starred as luckless delivery driver, Eddie, in the hit film and sang the showstopper, “Hot Patootie. Bless My Soul”. Created & produced by Paul Crook, this is the only band that was officially endorsed by Meat Loaf.
