TUCSON, Ariz. --- Old Tucson Returns: After reopening with successful Nightfall and Yuletide events in 2022, Old Tucson is proud to resume seasonal Winter-Spring operation with the introduction of A Western Experience beginning January 26th! This immersive interpretation of the classic Old Tucson adventure features stunt shows, gunfights, rides, and wild west attractions – all for one great price! A Western Experience operates Thursdays through Sundays from January 26 to May 7. Tickets are $34 for Adults and $17 for Children (5-11) and admission includes all rides and attractions. A Western Experience: Join the adventure at Old Tucson’s brand-new offering, A Western Experience and get a glimpse of a historic town in Arizona territory during the 1800s. Enjoy live-action cowboy gunfights in our Town Square and death-defying stunts at The Mission. Watch a knee-slapping musical in the Grand Palace filled with romance, high-kicks, and a mystical legend of cursed gold rumored to be hidden right here in Old Tucson. Meet our lovable bandits, Mad Dog and The Bandit Queen, and find out if they succeed in their attempt to steal the gold!


Watch out…you might even find yourself a part of the show! Take part in the search for the missing gold, enter the Iron Door Gold Mine if you dare, or stroll through the Shelton Hall Museum. Learn about Old Tucson’s movie history through one of our historical tours, explore our petting zoo, and delight in several attractions, rides, and shows all for one great price!


Dining & Retail Information: There are several dining options inside the park, from casual snacks and light drinks to full meals. Jakes BBQ serves our famous smoked brisket and carnitas, enjoy delicious tacos and tamales at Rosa’s, or get a burger and a pretzel at the Cowboy Café. And if you’re craving something sweet Phoebe’s sells our homemade fudge or delight in some old-fashioned ice cream from our Creamery. Gifts and Old Tucson merchandise will be available at multiple locations throughout the park.


The Last Outpost: Only in town for a few days and can’t make it to A Western Experience? Our main retail store, “The Last Outpost” will be open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 5:00pm. Semi-private historical tours will also be available at select times for an additional fee Monday through Wednesday, and only available for purchase at The Last Outpost.


A Western Experience Event Information: A Western Experience will be open Thursday through Sunday from 10:30am to 5:00pm. The entry fee includes unlimited access to all rides, shows, and attractions within the park. Tickets can be purchased both at the gate or in advance online.
