April 1, 2025, TUCSON, AZ – Ballet Tucson is thrilled to announce our upcoming line-up of free Pop-Up Performances throughout our Southern Arizona community. These performances provide opportunities for arts lovers of all ages to engage with the region’s only professional ballet company in unique settings through our partnerships with local treasures.

 

As part of our organization’s mission to share the inspiration of dance with our community and to create accessible opportunities to connect with the arts, we will present five free performances from May 3rd through May 18th. Ballet Tucson will perform across Southern Arizona at the Tucson Museum of Art, Children’s Museum Tucson, Tohono Chul Gardens, La Encantada and the Reid Park Amphitheater with the Tucson Pops Orchestra led by Khris Dodge. Some performances also include Community Dance Classes that allow people of all ages and skill levels to experience the joy of dancing themselves, and Ballet Storytimes for young children.

 

This programming is designed to engage our community in new ways and all events are free to the public, eliminating barriers and creating the opportunity for everyone to experience the magic of ballet outside of traditional theater spaces.
