Tucson, AZ--- Si Charro!'s Charro Steak & Del Rey, will be featured on the Discovery+  premiere of “Taste of the Border” on Cinco de Mayo, Thursday May 5th.   

 

"Taste of the Border" follows acclaimed Chef Claudia Sandoval as she travels along the U.S.-Mexico border, exploring the diverse culinary landscapes of often- overlooked border towns stretching from Sandoval's hometown of San Diego to South Padre Island in Texas. Having grown up on the border herself, Claudia is uniquely suited to highlight the delicious and surprising food as she discovers "how the food from each town showcases a blending of flavors and cultures from the U.S. and Mexico, as well as other unexpected influences."

 

On her visit to Charro Steak & Del Rey, Claudia enjoyed signature several dishes presented by Executive Chef Gary including the Charro Escargot, the amazing Lobster Tamalada, and the Charro Burger and Fries.
