Tucson, AZ (November 21, 2023) – This November and December, La Encantada will offer favorite holiday traditions plus a few new ways to make the season bright. A wintertime favorite, Enchanted Snowfall, returns to La Encantada shopping center this year, presented by HSL Properites, Iridius Capital, Town West, Crest Insurance Group, Broadway of Tucson, and 94.9 Mix FM. Along with the celebratory faux snowfall, shoppers and diners can enjoy live holiday performances from Ballet Tucson and local high schools, plus complimentary hot chocolate from Blanco Cocina + Cantina. Santa Claus will be visiting for two nights of Enchanted Snowfall, and earlier in December especially for Pet Photo Night. In addition, holiday shoppers can discover gifts for everyone on their list at exclusive stores from Apple to Tiffany & Co., plus the new-to-Tucson piercing studio and earring retailer Rowan and two holiday pop-up boutiques, Mary & Brite, and Ben’s Bells. Holiday diners can gather for brunch, lunch, or dinner at the newly opened True Food Kitchen. Plus, the new Session Yoga Foothills will be open for Hot Power Yoga classes, even offering a class on Thanksgiving morning. They will also offer a 4-week family pop-up yoga series in December.
Holiday Happenings
Enchanted Snowfall will turn the La Encantada courtyard into a beautiful winter wonderland on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, November 24 through December 23, from 6 to 6:15 pm and 6:45 to 7 pm. Enchanted Snowfall is free to the public and complimentary hot chocolate will be available, courtesy of Blanco Cocina + Cantina. Local schools and Ballet Tucson will perform live between snowfalls.
Santa Claus will visit La Encantada during Enchanted Snowfall on the evenings of Friday, December 22, and Saturday December 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Pet Photo Night will take place on Tuesdays, December 5, 12, and 19 from 4 to 6 pm in the center courtyard.
Session Yoga Foothills will offer a 4-Week Family Pop-Up Series in December, every Saturday at 10 am in the La Encantada Courtyard. Classes are 30 minutes and welcome all ages, simply bring your own mat. Dec. 2: Baby & Me Yoga; Dec. 9: Mindfully Me; Dec. 16: Story Yoga; Dec. 23: Festive Flow! The Salvation Army Giving Tree will be located on the lower level of the mall from November 26 through December 24. Visitors can donate new toys for families in need Fridays through Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm.
Mall hours will be extended for more convenient holiday shopping, and shoppers will find two new holiday pop-up shops, a hot yoga studio, plus a new-to-Tucson piercing studio and a highly anticipated new-to-Tucson restaurant at La Encantada this year.
The Mary & Brite pop-up Christmas store, open for the holiday season only, offers inspired ornaments and décor, plus a local maker and baker section. Find them on Level 1 near the courtyard.
Ben’s Bells invites people to Shop KIND at their La Encantada pop-up location this holiday season. Ben's Bells' Shop KIND is more than just a retail store. Their “Goods for Kindness”—including seasonal gifts, handmade ceramic wind chimes, stickers, cards, apparel, hats, jewelry, bags, and home goods—encourage purpose-driven shopping that impacts shoppers and their entire community. Every handmade and hand-selected item sold helps fund their community art studios, kindness education, and furthers their mission of inspiring kindness. They are located on Level 2 of the shopping center.
Rowan, a mom-founded brand reimagining ear piercing for all ages, partners with licensed nurses for piercing and offers hypoallergenic earrings. They opened earlier this month at La Encantada on the upper level near MAC.
True Food Kitchen, the award-winning restaurant brand that has pioneered health-driven dining, also opened this November at La Encantada. The menu is based on the anti-inflammatory food pyramid, the brainchild of Dr. Andrew Weil, renowned doctor of integrative medicine, and founder and director of the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Diners can enjoy seasonally inspired dishes, a new brunch program, and happy hour drink specials. True Food Kitchen is located near the shopping center’s Restaurant Circle.
Near True Food Kitchen, the new Session Yoga Foothills offers Hot Power Yoga classes for all skill levels, seven days per week. A variety of discounted class passes and memberships are offered, in addition to single drop-in classes, available online and in the studio. Mat and towel rentals are also available at the studio. Session Yoga Foothills is located on the upper level of La Encantada, between Blanco Cocina + Cantina and True Food Kitchen.
Valet services are now available at La Encantada for the holiday season, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 4 pm to 10 pm. Southwest Valet will be located in the roundabout in front of Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and North Italia.
