Tucson, AZ—Tonight at the Fox Tucson Theatre’s 95th Anniversary fundraising event – Fox Time Trot – guests will experience the theatre as never before. Nearly a century of memories and progress will be on display throughout the building – from the wonders of backstage, the secrets of how shows are produced, the delight of the green room where talent hangs out before shows, to the very top of the building where the projection booth has controlled everything from the Mickey Mouse Club Saturday matinee movies of the 30’s and 40’s to the classics of the modern era. It’s an evening of entertainment, history, and glamour! Guests will be greeted by a 1930’s automobile and a classic movie set created by Old Tucson Studios, complete with a horse and buggy for a vintage-themed photo opportunity.
A skilled yoyo performer will dazzle attendees, while a burlesque show and a separate performance by sultry singer Miss Lola Torch add to the excitement. The Liz Cracchiolo Trio, featuring Brittany Battle, will provide smooth jazz, complemented by tap and ballroom dancers bringing the spirit of the 1930s to life and more.
Guests will be the first to hear about upcoming shows and have access to early ticket sale opportunities offered exclusively to attendees. Tickets for shows listed below will go on sale to donors of $100 + on Monday, Apr 14 and to the public on April 18.
