$5 Fridays - The coolest place in midtown Tucson just got cooler! Visit the Tucson Botanical Gardens for just $5 on $5 Fridays from June 6 through September 26 (except Friday, July 4 when the Gardens is closed.) Members visit for free, as usual.
Enjoy a summer stroll under the canopy of 100-year old shade trees, the lush green tones of over 20 specialty garden spaces, and a delicious $5 Friday Root Beer Float at the café, Edna’s Eatery by Charly’s Grill.
Father’s Day - Tucson Botanical Gardens is celebrating Plant Dads, Dog Dads, and Best Dads this Father’s Day, June 15.
Treat the father-figures in your life with a visit to the more than 20 curated garden spaces including the Cactus & Succulent Garden and The Great Garden Express model train exhibit set in an Arizona Sky Islands inspired landscape.
The Gardens’ Green Shop (next to VASA Fitness at Grant and Alvernon) is a great stop if you need a last-minute gardening gift for Dad. The café will be adding some special dad-friendly items to the breakfast and lunch menu, all served with a generous helping of very bad dad jokes.
Dog Days of Summer - From June 1 through September 30, Tucson Botanical Gardens invites visitors and members to bring along their well-behaved, on-leash canine companions.
Fido can enjoy good smells, lots of shady pathways, and a stop at an outdoor table at the café to sample the special dog chow menu. Water stations, poop bags, and dog treats are available.
