Aug 6, 7:30om – Buddy Guy Damn Right Encore
At age 87, Buddy Guy is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city’s halcyon days of electric blues. Buddy Guy has received 8 GRAMMY Awards, a 2015 Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, 38 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, a Kennedy Center Honor, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him #23 in its “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
Aug 7, 7:30pm – Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives
Marty Stuart has won five Grammy Awards, is a member of the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame. “You have to make the music that’s in your heart,” says Marty Stuart. “Sometimes that lines up with what’s going on out there in the world, sometimes it takes the world thirty or forty years to catch up, but if you’re true to your heart, that’s all that matters.”
Aug 11, 7:30pm - Gin Blossoms With Support from Honeygirl
Gin Blossoms is an American alternative rock band formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. The band rose to prominence following the 1992 release of their first major label debut album, New Miserable Experience, and the first single released from that album, “Hey Jealousy” became a Top 25 hit and went gold. New Miserable Experience eventually went quadruple platinum, and three other charting singles were released from the album including “Allison Road” and “Until I Fall Away”. The band’s follow-up album, Congratulations I’m Sorry (1996), went platinum including the Grammy nominated “As Long as It Matters” and the top 10 single “Follow You Down”. Gin Blossoms continue to tour every year and in recent years have shared the stage with Collective Soul, Barenaked Ladies and Hootie & The Blowfish.

Keb’ Mo’ and Shawn Colvin, both highly acclaimed and Grammy Award-winning artists, bring their unique blend of blues and folk to the stage. Keb’ Mo’, renowned for his modern take on Delta blues, captivates audiences with his soulful guitar playing and rich, expressive voice. Shawn Colvin, celebrated for her introspective songwriting and ethereal voice, weaves intricate tales through her music, blending folk, pop, and Americana influences.
Over the past two decades, award-winning singer, songwriter, guitarist and contemporary blues artist Keb’ Mo’ has cultivated a reputation as a modern master of American roots music through the understated excellence of his live and studio performances. Shawn Colvin stands out as a singular and enduring talent. Her songs are slow-release works of craft and catharsis that become treasured, lifetime companions for their listeners.

Aug 16, 2pm – Mr. Nature’s Music Garden Band – Training Wheels Concert
Get ready to sing, dance, and celebrate!
Made Possible by a grant from the Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation and led by the beloved Tucson-based teaching artist and musician Mr. Nature (Anthony Aldinger), this interactive musical experience brings joy, creativity, and connection to audiences of all ages. With a heart for kindness and a passion for play-based learning, Mr. Nature blends original songs, nature-based themes, and positive messages into an engaging live show that gets everyone moving. Joining Mr. Nature on stage is a talented ensemble of musical creatures: OG Leaf Adrian lays down the rhythm on drums and vocals; Syndenn Sweet brings harmonies, violin, percussion, and ukulele; Michelle enchants with flute, saxophone, guitar, and rich harmonies; Brother Bear Eli grooves on bass, guitar, melodica, and keytar; and Po Tom adds depth with bass, guitar, mandolin, and harmonies. Together, they create a fun, funky, feel-good sound that turns every performance into a celebration!
Training Wheels Concerts: A young child’s first concert is a big deal! It can be exciting but also overwhelming. The Fox Tucson Theatre has given thousands of children their first live performing arts experiences, and we want to ensure they are positive ones. So we’ve designed concerts like this to be smaller in audience size and more accessible in content. Like training wheels, they’ll take the joy of live events at the Fox and make them more ‘bite-sized’ for little, first-time theatregoers!
Aug 20, 7:30pm - Burton Cummings of The Guess Who - A Few Good Moments Tour
Few artists have achieved the level of public success and critical acclaim that Burton Cummings enjoys in a career spanning more than sixty years. Cummings’ voice has been rated among the finest in rock music. As lead singer and songwriter of The Guess Who, he recorded and wrote/co-wrote hits such as “These Eyes,” “Laughing,” “No Time,” “American Woman,” “Share the Land,” “Hand Me Down World,” “Albert Flasher,” “Star Baby,” “Clap for The Wolfman,” and “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature”. As a solo artist, Burton leaves his mark with the poignant “Stand Tall,” “I’m Scared,” “You Saved My Soul,” and his signature “My Own Way to Rock”.

I Hear Thunder marks the long-awaited return of four-time Grammy-nominated artist Tab Benoit. Renowned for his distinctive guitar tone and Otis-Redding-esque voice, Benoit has been a captivating figure in the roots music world for over thirty years.
Tab’s personal growth and advancement as a songwriter and musician have culminated in a benchmark recording. His new self-produced album, I Hear Thunder, for his imprint, Whiskey Bayou Records, is a testament to his fiery exuberance that first marked his career in 1992. The record not only showcases his artistic brilliance but also his profound commitment to environmental advocacy, a legacy that extends beyond the stage into the heart of the land that inspires his bluesy soul.
