Tucson, AZ---The Invisible Theatre presents HOPSCOTCH TO INFINITY, a delightful series of funny, ironic, and poignant vignettes that capture the exuberance of growing up. Relive schooldays through the “peeps” at Plinkett Elementary, who delight in magical powers, holidays, and whether stepping on a crack will break your mother’s back. Directed by Betsy Kruse Craig, the Invisible Theatre is thrilled to produce this charming production that will appeal to the childlike spirit within us all. The show runs for 80 minutes without an intermission.  Age recommendation is  5 to adult. ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT

Alejandro Canelos was born in Nogales, Sonora and raised in Tucson. He studied Biology at Harvard, receiving a BA in 1992. He is the author of two short story collections, The Neotenic Queen and Hunters and Thieves, and two books of short plays, Ten-Minute Dramas and Hopscotch to InfinityTen-Minute Dramas has been produced as a series of live-radio plays on the local radio show ARIZONA SPOTLIGHT.  He also plays drums professionally (freelance, all styles) and sings in two choirs. He enjoys hiking, mountain biking, cheering on the UA Wildcats, jazz and spending time with his family.
