Biosphere 2 was recently named by Time Life Books as one of the 50 must see "Wonders of the World". Biosphere 2 was originally designed as a prototype for space colonization; it now houses real time earth science and research along with a visitor center that has movies, exhibits, cafe and bookstore. Open daily!

Out of the way out of this world
Great tour, interesting guide and a spectacular exhibit. This is a very interesting exhibit. Truly amazing how this was built and what they attempted to accomplish. Wear good walking shoes.
