Step back in time to the Old West... The Bird Cage Theatre is an experience you will never forget. Preserved since 1881. Nationally known historic Old West landmark. Site of 16 gunfights, 26 killings, refrain of "Bird in a Gilded Cage" song. Open to the public year-round, daily, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Tombstone, Arizona. The place has a reputation of being Haunted. Who knows, those poor souls that were murdered inside, may be ghosts still playing poker with a lady on their laps.

Good Place To Learn History
The Bird Cage Theater was a good part of our Tombstone Tour. I enjoy reading of the colorful history of old towns. It was not especially unique, but well worth a stop to see.
Didn't Pay The Admission
We were warmly welcomed and we looked around the lobby and that is where we stopped. The $10 admission just seemed too steep for whatever is available on the tour. Maybe it is. It's your 10 bucks.
