Bird Cage Theatre
Step back in time to the Old West... The Bird Cage Theatre is an experience you will never forget. Preserved since 1881. Nationally known historic Old West landmark. Site of 16 gunfights, 26 killings, refrain of "Bird in a Gilded Cage" song. Open to the public year-round, daily, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Tombstone, Arizona. The place has a reputation of being Haunted. Who knows, those poor souls that were murdered inside, may be ghosts still playing poker with a lady on their laps.

Worth a listen
The guides are very informative of what happened there and definately worth it to stay and listen. Make time in your day to stop in and look around!
Not a Gilded Cage
We went to the Bird Cage Theater Museum, paid our $9.00 (senior rate) and then went into the area that was beyond a door that was opened for us. They tout that they are the only “original” building...
Worth the $10 charge. Never wanted to pay for self guided tour in past. Glad I did this time! Excellent introduction before tour if you don't want to pay .
