Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and named one of the “20 Must Play US Venues” by a leading music industry website, the Fox Tucson Theatre is truly the "Crown Jewel of Downtown.” Our theater presents an exciting mix of live entertainment, classic movies and community events all year long in this beautifully restored, historic theatre.There’s something for every music lover this season from industry icons and legends to exciting new artists, with genres ranging from Country to Bluegrass, Hot Jazz to Cool Blues, Classic Rock to Singer-Songwriters!
We have also introduced our Youth Arts and Culture programming initiative which exposes children of all ages to the arts, providing exceptional family programming that helps strengthen our community as a whole. The Fox is pleased to offer grants to reduce our already subsidized non-profit rental costs to Tucson-based non-profit groups interested in renting the theatre to put on family-friendly events.
The Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation has been formed to express purpose of returning the theatre to its original status as an iconic cultural venue in Southern Arizona–generates community passion and investment for the past, present, and future of the historic Fox Tucson Theatre.The Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed out of the citizen’s group known as the Fox Theatre Revival Committee. The Foundation is guided by a professional staff and is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors.
The Fox Tucson Theatre is also available for rental, by private and corporate groups. The theater auditorium, lobby, upper lounge & lower lounge are all rentable, and the Fox also has a small catering kitchen on site. It is a perfect location for weddings, receptions, private parties, performing groups, private screenings and premieres, photo shoots, filming and more.

Interesting historic theater
It’s a relatively nice venue IF you choose the balcony love seats. The seats on the main floor are way too close together and fairly uncomfortable. The acoustics are ok and stage views are good...
Although the lobby is a bit crowded, the theater has no bad seats. It is a flexible venue for all types of events.
