Visit Mat Bevel’s Museum Of Kinetic Art on the first Saturday of each month during October to May from 5 to 8 pm. Families and people of all ages are invited to enjoy this world of kinetic art created by sculptor, poet and performer Ned Schaper. The kid-friendly museum includes nearly a hundred moving sculptures all made from recycled items—a tiara, boxing gloves, an old trombone, a badminton racket—thousands of discarded objects. Each fine-art sculpture has a unique name: Americana Duck, Lover Boy, Sharka, Chicken Pox and The Thought Launcher. Gallery closed June through September.
