Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley little hidden jewel
Mt. Lemmon is a SKY ISLAND. You may look up from the valley floor of Tucson and think there is no snow to ski on, BUT that is not always true. It is the southern most ski area in the continental USA...
Pleasant ride , nice mountain setting, and nice views
My neighbors and I wanted to see and do it all, so we drove all the way to the Mt Lemmon Ski area. We took photos after parking in the nice large lot, then visited the Iron Door Restaurant area...
Unique in the US
If you visit Tucson the drive is a must. You go from cactus to what looks like Alaska. There are many hiking trails, camp sites and restaurants at the top.
