Tucson’s streetcar is a great way to see the best of Tucson. The Sun Link Streetcar connects five entertainment districts– Downtown Tucson, Mercado San Agustín, Fourth Avenue, Main Gate Square and the University of Arizona– in central Tucson. The four-mile route has 23 stops adorned with public art. The streetcar is located within walking distance of hundreds of Tucson’s most iconic restaurants, museums, shops and entertainment venues . www.sunlinkstreetcar.com) How to ride: Payment: • Cash is NOT accepted on the streetcar. • 1-Day SunGO ticket: $4.50, available at all Sun Link stops. Once activated, provides 24 hours of unlimited rides • Money loaded on a SunGO Card: One-way full fare: $1.60, for 2 hours of unlimited rides • Children 5 years old and younger ride for free with a paying adult • GoTucson Transit App: Visitors can buy a Single Boarding Fare ($1.75), 1-Day Pass ($4), 3-Day Pass ($10) on their smartphone. Download the GoTucson Transit App via the App Store or Google Play. Hours of Operation • Monday – Wednesday: 7 am - 6 pm every 10 minutes; 6 pm - 10 pm* every 20 minutes • Thursday – Friday: 7 am - 6 pm every 10 minutes; 6 pm - 10 pm every 20 minutes: 10 pm - 2 am* every 30 minutes • Saturday: 8 am - 10 pm every 20 minutes; 10 pm - 2 am* every 30 minutes • Sunday: 8 am - 8 pm* every 20 minutes * During University of Arizona winter and summer breaks, Sun Link service ends Thursdays at 10 p.m. and Fridays & Saturdays at 12 a.m.
