The Titan Missile Museum is the only publicly accessible Titan II missile site in the nation. At this National Historic Landmark site, visitors stand on the front line of the Cold War. Tour the underground missile site. See the three-ton blast doors, the eight-foot thick silo walls, and an actual Titan II missile in the launch duct. Visit the launch control center, experience a simulated launch and more! Go down in history at the Titan Missile Museum! Amazing sight to see. Real ICBM nuclear rocket.
Decommissioned nuclear missile. Only a few minutes south of Tucson. Frequent guided tours. Check their website. Some longer tours go to bottom of the rocket but they are less frequent. All tours...
Saw this after we got to Tucson and decided to go. Glad we did as it was an interesting look into the cold war defense/offense. This is small group guided tour under ground and self guided above.
