What’s a CTA?
A Certified Tourism Ambassador™ (CTA) is a person who wants to be informed and knowledgable about all that Tucson and Southern Arizona have to offier. They're interested in learning about local attractions, experiences, culinary offerings, history and culture, and they want to take that knowledge and strive to make every visitor encounter a positive one.

They Are Lifelong Learners
They have made, and continue to make, an effort to learn about events, activities, and attractions in and around the Tucson area. CTAs visit sites of interest and attend events that celebrate the people, places, and things that make our region so unique and worth visiting.

CTAs strive to educate not just themselves but everyone about the great things there are to see and do in Tucson and Southern Arizona.
Why is the Visitor’s Experience so Important?
The Tucson area hospitality industry brought in $2.6 billion to Pima County in 2019.
