Convention Center District
Downtown's convention center is a hub of activity for residents and visitors alike.
Tucson Convention Center Plus
It's a new dawn for downtown Tucson. This renaissance spurred by new commerce, creative development, and expanded public transportation is drawing attention to the Tucson Convention Center (TCC). With its newly upgraded Arena, the TCC offers more than 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space as well as improved event and exhibit space, plentiful parking, and artfully landscaped grounds, plus Tucson Music Hall and Leo Rich Theater. Whether it’s for business or entertainment, the TCC provides outstanding variety and value, especially for large-scale group events like sports competitions, conferences and conventions, and special events.
The TCC is home to the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners ice hockey team, the Tucson Sugar Skulls indoor football team, and the Arizona Wildcats ice hockey team (Icecats). And due to the centralized Downtown location, vendors and attendees can walk to nearby shops, restaurants, museums, and lodging just a few blocks away. The arrival of the 136-room AC Hotel Tucson Downtown comes complete with a small meetings venue. The new City Park complex will provide meeting space, retail, and exciting entertainment options when it opens in 2019. Plus, plentiful garage parking and the Sun Link Streetcar line are just steps away, so dining-and-entertainment districts downtown are all conveniently accessible. From here, it's easy to experience some of the best that Tucson has to offer.
