Dog-Friendly Parks, Trails & Lodging

Treat your canine companion to Tucson's great outdoors with these travel resources.

Coming to Tucson with your pet? We have many dog-friendly accommodations and restaurants that welcome well-behaved pets. These dog parks and dog-friendly trails are great resources for burning off extra energy. You may enjoy our State and National Parks with your canine companion in paved areas, generally, such as in picnic areas and campgrounds and some trails -- please check before venturing out. All dogs must be leashed and under the control of a human. Tucson Mountain Park in Pima County is off-limits to dogs, however. Please note that some parks and trails are on-leash and others are off-leash. Be sure to call ahead so you know what to expect.
