Works by one of the most prominent Cuban artists of the late 20th century are being featured at the Tucson Museum of Art (TMA). The museum's new exhibit, Carlos Estévez: Entelechy, Works from 1992 to 2018 is a survey of the artist's work from the past 25 years. The art of Carlos Estévez reveals an interest in the link between human spirituality and the infinity of human experience. He explores notions of symbolism, time, anatomy, metaphysics and the cosmos in a quest for understanding that transcends the visual to enter the realm of the mind in complex works in different media.
