Cool Summer Nights: Explore Outdoors!
Venue: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Time: From: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum stays open after sundown on Saturday evenings all summer long as the nocturnal creatures of The Living Desert come to life. Look for Museum docents and Jr. docents interpreting live animals, celestial desert skies, fluorescent minerals, animal eye shine, Sonoran Desert insects, night sounds, bats, kissing bugs, scorpions, and/or rattlesnakes.
July 20 - Explore Outdoors - Learn more from our partners: Sky Island Alliance, Coronado Outdoors, Saguaro National Park, Cooper Center, and University of Arizona Skin Cancer Institute. Enjoy our latest art exhibit, crawl and climb in Packrat Playhouse, sip on a specialty cocktail under the stars, feel the touch of the stingray, engage with our animals, enjoy presentations from Ralph Wetmore, the University of Arizona's Lunar & Planetary Lab, and Don Davis from PSI to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing.
