Lee Brice Headlines Cologuard Classic Military Appreciation Concert

Chart-topping country singer-songwriter Lee Brice will headline the 2020 PGA TOUR Champions' Cologuard Classic military appreciation concert. This concert under the stars will take place on the practice range at Omni Tucson National Resort, following the second round of competition at the Cologuard Classic. Also performing is rising country music star Lindsay Ell, an accomplished musician, unique vocalist and songwriter.
Brice is a Grammy Award nominee, a CMA nominee, and a double ACM award-winner and he's taken five radio singles to number one: A Woman Like You, Hard to Love, I Drive Your Truck, I Don't Dance, and Drinking Class. Brice has achieved Gold and Platinum on every album and single released, with A Woman Like You reaching Double Platinum status. Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and others have recorded his songs.
Ell, lauded as one of the most exciting and talented young artists in country music (Forbes), is a Calgary native who learned to play guitar while traveling with her father to country-bluegrass camps as a young girl. The multi-instrumentalist has toured with alongside the likes of Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy, The Band Perry and Keith Urban, and has wowed audiences as Carrie Underwoods guitar player live on the 50th Annual CMA Awards and held her own alongside icon Melissa Etheridge on Skyville Live.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit DM50, a Tucson-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Airmen and their families, educating the community on the vital role Davis-Monthan Air Force Base has within the region, and local youth through amateur athletic programs.
For a second year, the Cologuard Classic, managed by the Tucson Conquistadores, and DM50, along with iHeart Media (97.1 FM-The Bull), Cumulous Radio (99.5 FM-KIIM) have teamed up for this exciting event. The Cologuard Classic tournament activities will take place February 23-March 1, 2020 at Omni Tucson National Resort and will feature a 78-player field competing for a $1.7 million purse with $255,000 and 255 Charles Schwab Cup points for the winner.
