These shows run from Jan 15th- Feb 21st, 2021
Main Gallery - Arizona Aqueous - "Arizona Aqueous" has been a tradition at TCA for 34 years. This national juried exhibit engages artists from across the country working in traditional and contemporary methods that incorporate water media on paper. Juror: Jim Waid
Front Gallery - For the Love of It - Tubac artist, Marion Valentine was one of the early Tubac artists, along with her husband Hans, their home was also their studio, open to the public. Marion was well known for her unique batik paintings. In this retrospective, we celebrate her love of art and community for her 120th birthday, February 14th, Valentine's Day!
Master Gallery - Harmston Arts - Seripraphs - Harmston Arts represents a partnership of 30 years of creativity. Steve and Bonnie Harmston work together with a focus that reflects each of their unique sensibilities. Steve has a BFA in Printmaking and Bonnie has a degree in Marketing. Together they collaborate on designs that reflect their experiences from travels throughout the wild and rural parts of the land. Their silkscreen prints are the expression of this imagery with simple, hand-cut shapes, overlaying a vibrant color palette of translucent and opaque colors.
Studio Gallery - In partnership with the Tubac Historical Society, and in support of the Tubac Festival of the Arts, TCA will present historical posters, programs, and documents from the Tubac Festival of Arts archive dating back to the 1970s.
