Tucson Celtic Festival Association proudly hosts its 35th annual celebration of everything Irish/Scottish/Welsh on the grounds of Rillito Regional Park.  Highland athletics, Scottish clans and Celtic heritage, Scottish and Irish dance, a huge kids area, junior highland athletics, whisky tastings, workshops, great beer selections, Celtic food and merchandise, all-day entertainment by great bands. The Southwest Master's Championship presented by the Tucson Celtic Hammerheads on Saturday features athletes from around the world competing in nine traditional Scottish games like the caber (tree trunk) toss. There will also be traditional piping and drumming performances as well as Scottish clans and societies in traditional dress, Scottish and Irish dance performances. You don't have to be Celtic to enjoy this fun, family festival.
