It's October in Tucson...perfect weather for a bicycle ride, presented by Greater Arizona Bicycling Association (GABA). Three options are available for riders, from novice to very experienced cyclists: a 100-mile loop/out and back; 70-mile out and back; 30-mile out and back. All route options run south through the scenic Santa Cruz River Valley, Tubac, and Tumacacaori Mission. The route is a mixture of flat, rolling hills, and challenging climbs, all the while being very picturesque. Many cyclists record their best time for riding a century on this route. If you like to ride with friends, invite them to register and join you on your ride as long as  there are less than 10 of you in a group and you maintain social distancing. You can't share miles but you can share in the experience.
Start your ride from any location in Sahaurita or Green Valley, or anywhere USA (we do encourage you to ride the Tumacacori Century route). You have a week to complete the Tumacacori Century Challenge. Challenge dates: Monday September 28th to Sunday October 4th, 5:00 PM.  This ride is on your own. There will be no volunteer support for this challenge and no Day of Registration. If you have questions please contact Colleen at   Register on the GABA website. Registration fee for members and non-members is $25.00.
