Tucson Festivals & Annual Events

It's no surprise to find seemingly endless events and festivals in a city with as much culture and soul as Tucson, AZ. From our deep connection to the historic Old West to honoring the memory of lost loved ones in our annual All Souls Procession, Tucson never fails to find reasons to gather and celebrate.

One look at our calendar of events reveals that your only challenge is choosing the best event(s) for your visit. Or, if you're already in town and looking for events in Tucson today, this calendar is a goldmine! To help you navigate this massive list of Arizona events, we narrowed it down by season.

Keeping It Annual

Life is all about rhythms. This is certainly true with Tucson's top annual events. Take a winter vacation to sun-drenched Tucson, and you could score a great deal on shimmering, rare gems and minerals at the world-famous Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase.

Or watch in awe as some of the biggest names in men's pro golf battle it out in the scenic Cologuard Classic. While there, don’t forget to take a moment to appreciate the clean desert air. If golf isn't your thing, look no further than our Marquee Sports Events.

In Tucson, we're huge bookworms. If you are too, check out the two-day Tucson Festival of Books on the lush, open-air University of Arizona mall each spring. Or hit up the Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair, which showcases over 400 arts and crafts booths and more. If you visit in April, this same fair comes to life under a gorgeous Sonoran spring sky.

Get in the holiday spirit with downtown's Parade of Lights & Festival. This iconic holiday event celebrates the spirit of the season and Tucson's unique culture with a colorful, multicultural display of lights, music, and creativity. Festivities begin in Jácome Plaza with entertainment, music, and the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Then, the parade marches through the heart of downtown including holiday floats, marching bands, dance groups, and more.
