Rising Country Music Star Lindsay Ell to Join Lee Brice at 2020 Cologuard Classic Military Appreciation Concert: Nova Home Loans Named Presenting Sponsor Of Concert

Tucson, Ariz. (January 20, 2020) – Rising country music star Lindsay Ell has been added to the 2020 Cologuard Classic Military Appreciation Concert presented by Nova Home Loans, opening for headliner Lee Brice at Omni Tucson National Resort on Saturday, February 29. The concert event will take place on the practice range following the second round of competition at the Cologuard Classic. Nova Home Loans, the Tucson-based mortgage lender, has been added as the concert’s presenting sponsor.

2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup Schedule

TUCSON (January 7, 2019) — FC Tucson, in partnership with Phoenix Rising Football Club, announced today the official 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup schedule. A total of nine matches will be played from Feb. 15-22 at Kino North Stadium in Tucson, Ariz., and Casino Arizona Field in Scottsdale, Ariz. The 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup includes Major League Soccer clubs Columbus Crew SC, Houston Dynamo, New York Red Bulls, Real Salt Lake, and Sporting KC, plus USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC.

Sun Cup Preseason Tournament Rebranded to Visit Tucson Sun Cup

The 2020 Sun Cup will be re-branded as the Visit Tucson Sun Cup effective immediately. The tournament will feature five MLS clubs plus Phoenix Rising and will be held at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Ariz. on February 15-22, 2020.

In the United States-Mexico border region, two groups of women brewers – one in the Arizona and the other in Mexico – are making history by collaborating on a new craft beer in what will be the first all-female binational brew project of its kind.

New Turquoise Trail Map and App Announced by Tucson Presidio Museum

(TUCSON, ARIZ., December 13, 2019) A new and improved version of the Turquoise Trail map and app will be available Sunday, Dec. 27, the Tucson Presidio Museum announced. Originally launched 11 years ago with a blue line on the sidewalk and a printed brochure/map, the Turquoise Trail (a self-guided walking tour of downtown Tucson historical and heritage sites) has become a Tucson institution for visitors and locals alike. Now, the Presidio Museum has unveiled a brand-new brochure with an up-to-date map of downtown AND a brand new accompanying app. The Turquoise Trail is a great outing for those ready to tackle a New Year’s resolution.
