Transportation - Getting from Arizona Stadium to Armory Park for the Block Party is no sweat when you ride the Sun Link Streetcar. Locate streetcar stops nearest Armory Park (on Broadway Blvd., just east of 6th Ave. for eastbound; on Congress Street, just east of 6th Ave. for westbound), using this Streetcar Map; or call (520) 792-9222.
The Sun Link Streetcar's 3.9-mile route connects you to four of Tucson's most unique dining and entertainment districts. You can ride the streetcar from near Arizona Stadium, on the University of Arizona campus, to Main Gate Square, Fourth Avenue, Downtown Core, and Mercado San Agustin. If you're cyclist, you can pedal from campus to downtown on a bike rented at a TuGo Bike Share station. There is a TuGo station at the northwest corner of Armory Park (southeast corner of 6th Ave. and 12th St.). Also, you can ride the Sun Tran bus.
Garage Parking - Before the game, it's convenient to park your car in one of the garages located in the University of Arizona and Downtown Core districts, which are connected by the Sun Link Streetcar.
Background on the Game - The NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl (a non-profit organization) was sanctioned in March 2015 as the 41st NCAA college football game and the third bowl game staged in Arizona. The NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl is dedicated to promoting community engagement and support in the Tucson area and includes teams from the Mountain West Conference and the Sun Belt Conference.
In 2015, the inaugural NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl Game was a Mountain West matchup of the Colorado State Rams and the University of Nevada Wolfpack, with the Wolfpack taking the bowl game's first trophy. In 2016, the Air Force Falcons defeated Sun Belt Conference opponent, South Alabama. In 2017, the New Mexico State Aggies beat the Utah State Aggies, 26-20 in overtime.
