Renting a Car

All of the major car rental agencies have fleets at Tucson International Airport (TUS). You'll also find a number of rental car agencies throughout the city if looking for a shorter-term or specialty rental during your stay.

Tucson's Sun Link Streetcar

Tucson's four-mile Sun Link Streetcar route links the University of Arizona campus with four downtown-area shopping-dining-entertainment districts, from Main Gate Square, adjacent to the university on the east end, to Mercado San Agustin, in the Mercado district on the west end, by way of the Historic Fourth Avenue and the Congress Street districts.

Taxis, Limos, Shuttles & Charters

In many parts of Tucson, including downtown and the University area, you can walk to great dining, shopping, and entertainment, but you may want wheels while you're here. If you prefer not to rent a car, taxi and limo services can get you where you need to go. Shuttle services and charter services also offer convenient transportation to the airport and other locations.

Bus Service within Tucson

Tucson's Sun Tran bus service offers more than 40 routes throughout the city and its outskirts, including 13 express routes. Learn more online or call (520) 792-9222 for route maps and schedules.

Travel Info

The twin U.S./Mexico cities of Nogales and the Mexico border are just over an hour south of Tucson, giving visitors a great opportunity to explore another country during their Tucson stay.

If International travel is on your itinerary, there are a couple of things you need to know:

If entering from Mexico, you MUST HAVE proper travel documentation for travel into Arizona
