Tucson Named First UNESCO City of Gastronomy

On December 11, 2015, Tucson, Arizona became one of 116 Member Cities of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) Creative Cities program - established in 2004 to promote cooperation between cities for "sustainable urban development" - and the only one selected for Gastronomy.

In a tough-fought game that delighted fans of both teams at various times, the Falcons of the United States Air Force Academy played a spectacular game after a rocky start to defeat the Jaguars of the University of South Alabama 45-21 in the second annual NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, played December 30, 2016 at Arizona Stadium, University of Arizona, Tucson, Ariz.  


NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl to be first NCAA Bowl game streamed live to both Facebook & Twitter via Campus Insiders

For the first time in NCAA Bowl history, the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl will be available to fans as a live video stream on Facebook and Twitter, the latter being part of a live streaming partnership with Twitter announced earlier this year. The NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl kicks off between the South Alabama Jaguars and the Air Force Falcons on Friday, December 30, at 5:30 pm ET at Arizona Stadium, in Tucson.
