Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Shows

Every January and February, the world-renowned Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase transforms the city into a global marketplace, a time portal, and a treasure hunt all rolled into one. What began as a winter tradition has now expanded into a year-round series of shows, offering collectors, buyers, and enthusiasts more opportunities than ever to explore the rare, the exotic, and the extraordinary.

The magic does not stop in winter!  With dozens of mineral warehouses, stores, and our world class museum, Tucson's Gem, Mineral & Fossil business is YEAR ROUND!  Here is just some of what goes on during the other months:

 


  • Spring Showcase – The Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery, owned by Crystal Classics, will host their annual Spring Showcase May 9-11, 2025.  Free & open to the public  Details coming soon! 
  • Labor Day Weekend Shows – Tucson welcomes up to 12 gem, mineral, fossil, bead, wholesale and retail shows on the Thursday-Sunday of Labor Day Weekend.  Watch for listings for August 28-31, 2025!
  • October Dealers Showcase – DATES NOW SET!  October 2-5, 2025!  With its inaugural event in 2024, dozens of Tucson-based dealers opened their warehouses, showrooms and stores for five days of power shopping and showing off.  Listings to come!
  • Thanksgiving Showcase – The Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery holds this annual event mid-November.  Free & open to the public, with select events ticketed due to capacity limits!  More to come!
  • The Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase - January 28- February 15, 2026, with many shows opening up to ten days early!

Whether you're searching for a $5 shimmering crystal necklace or a $200,000 show-stopping specimen from a remote corner of the world, Tucson’s Gem, Mineral & Fossil Shows offer something for every collector, enthusiast, and first-time visitor. With events spanning multiple seasons, there’s always an opportunity to discover the next hidden gem in Tucson

And if you are groovin' on our Astro Trail, don't forget to look for meteorites, asteroids, their fragments, and even "space jewelry" at the shows!  They truly have it all.
