Hey, look! It's the New York Times!

It's been a great few days for Tucson food in the national media, continuing the momentum started by December's announcement that our city was named the first American UNESCO City of Gastronomy. First, USA Today's Ashley Day created an impressive list of Tucson culinary opportunities in Friday, August 19th's issue, including recommendations of BOCA, Tucson Tamale Company and Whiskey del Bac.

The New York Times covered another aspect of the UNESCO designation, the food producers and protectors of Tucson's gastronomy culture, including Heirloom Farmers Markets, Downtown Kitchen & Cocktails, and San Xavier Co-Op Farm.

Want to learn how you can experience Tucson food for yourself? Check out our list of Tucson farmers markets, places where you can see what UNESCO saw in Tucson and - of course - lists of great places to eat.
