Gem Show Events & Workshops
If you need a break from rockin' out during the gem shows, numerous organizations like GIA (Gemological Institute of America), Colors of the Stone, and Vivi Magoo Art in the Desert, offer classes ranging from jewelry making, to digging deeper about rocks, to continuing education credits for gem & jewelry professionals.
For fans of the more rocky stuff, there are mine tours. Asteroid and meteorite fans will delight in our Astro Trail. Have you ever created something with paints made from crystals? There’s that too.
2026 gem show event listings will begin appearing in late September. Check and check often!!
Need more? There is also live music, outdoor recreation, family-friendly entertainment, performing arts and cultural events, or sporting events. Check out our full calendar of events
