Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase

February 1-16, 2020

International Treasure Hunt

At the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase, you can browse or buy museum-quality gems, minerals, fossils, beads and meteorites. Hundreds of vendors from around the world sell things like jewelry, jewelry-making supplies, art, apparel and decorative items at all price points. Most shows are open to the public with free admission. Wholesale shows are not open to the public. The action is concentrated in the downtown-midtown area in huge tents, hotels and open-air plazas as well as at the Tucson Convention Center, which hosts the three-day Tucson Gem and Mineral Show®. Other shows are staged at resort hotels and exhibition venues just beyond downtown. The City of Tucson's free GemRide shuttle system connects visitors with gem shows and parking.

The Tucson Gem & Mineral Show® packs the Tucson Convention Center over the showcase's final weekend of mineral madness. Admission is charged for this gigantic show that includes free seminars and a Junior Education Area featuring hands-on activities led by University of Arizona students. Other shows have must-see exhibits with lifesize dinosaurs, geodes for cracking open, real meteorites and other cool things for kids to learn about. For show details, see Featured Listings on this page or call 1-800-638-8350.
